Shampoo and conditioner that doesn't coat your hair in wax?

i need shampoo and conditioner that will help protect against breakage and dryness but without coating my hair in wax. preferably bought from walmart and it has to be cheap because i have a small budgetShampoo and conditioner that doesn't coat your hair in wax?
I use Nexxus shampoo. You can find cheap ones at wal-mart, just browse those. They are all made for replenishing hair and keeping it healthy. I know Herbal Essences and Garnier Fructis always made my hair feel nasty afterwards.Shampoo and conditioner that doesn't coat your hair in wax?
The only ones that have wax are the Pantene ones. Avoid them! Get garnier futies (sp, i know), the long and strong helps prevent breakage.

a conditioner will always coat your hair..that is what a conditioner does.
Garnier Fructise works good .
