I have Natural Pin straight hair. i can't curl it with a curling iron or tin foil or tiny braids. It's soft so it doesn't work very effectively. I want it to become curly one way or another. If it does work can you name some? if it doesn't... what can I use instead? Other than a perm.Do curling shampoos really make your hair curly?
NO...they DO NOT work...if they did, no one would ever get another perm!
My hair is stick straight as well, fine (soft) but very thick...
NOTHING but a perm will curl my hair. And believe me, I've tried EVERYTHING...I have finally come to terms with it, and do not get perms anymore...I just have it textured heavily so it ';appears'; I have body to my hair...plus, coloring it also adds ';body';.
Unfortunately no one has come up with anything new for hair like ours...Do curling shampoos really make your hair curly?
no! I have straight hair, but I curled it a lot with a curling iron, so I thought maybe if I got a curly hair shampoo, it would enhance the curls! it didn't work, but I did see a difference when I put my hair in braids. I used to use straight hair shampoo, and sleeping with braids did nothing.
Try using curl enhancing sprays...I use a heat protectant by Tresseme. It's in a black and red bottle, and you spray it before you curl your hair with an iron, and it protects your hair from heat and holds your curls! Good luck.
no.they just add moisture to hair so it is not flying away and the curl can ';spring';.
well..all i can say is:lucky you! it is the fashion to have your hair now!
but i麓d try the old fashion way:on almost dry hair -wich you have blown dry with hair pending down apply setting mousse for curly hair.roll the hair rolls..blow cold air on them after 15 minutes.take em off shake head, form curls with fingers.apply hair spray.good luck!
