How do you know if a shampoo is wax-based?

I am looking for a good shampoo and conditioner that isn't wax-based. I want a salon quality shampoo and conditioner...any suggestions? Also, how do you tell if a shampoo is wax-based or not? Right now I use Garnier Fructis and Dove...How do you know if a shampoo is wax-based?
All drugstore shampoos and conditioners are wax based, that's why they are so cheap! But Aussie uses less wax and less harsh chemicals than any others. But if you really want to do good by your hair you'll go with a salon quality shampoo and conditioner, which you can only buy in a salon. How do you know if a shampoo is wax-based?
anything you buy in the store is going to have wax in it. biolage i dont believe has wax in it but you can only get it in the salon.
Good ones are Redken, Biolage, Matrix, Joico...these are the oens carrie din salons and are usually the ones they say to use.
