Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good Curl Defining shampoo becuase at the moment my hair looks like a poodle which has just lost in a fight with a really angry bear. Please help me before I am arrested by the fashion police.
Thanks PeepsWhats a Good Curl Defining Shampoo?
Loreal has one for curly hair and it is also a moisturizer. I use to use it and is smells great!Whats a Good Curl Defining Shampoo?
Hi, im a hairdresser and for curls i reccommend the best. Kerastase BAIN OLEO CURL shampoo or CREME OLEO CURL which is a cream you put in after youve washed your hair its no rince but my clients swear by it, its not the cheapest and only hairdressers sell the products but its really good. Good Luck
Aveda Be Curly range is very good though expensive. If you had to buy one product get the Leave in Curl Enhancer (big tube like the conditioner). It's won lots of industry awards and is the only thing that tames my hair when the weather is humid.
Ooooh, I know someone who has really curly hair and she swears by the John Freda frizz ease shampoo for curls and her curls are always so nice!

Either Tresemme anti frizz with almond

A Good Curl Enhancing Shampoo?
I would like to know what a good curl enhancing shampoo is. I have mostly straight hair but it is starting to get some curl especially on the inside. I only air dry my hair and hate to use heat on it. So I would like to find a shampoo to help my hair curl even more.A Good Curl Enhancing Shampoo?
If you are open to using a product (while still air drying) I have two recommendations:
I love Tresemme's Curl Definition. You put it in after you have towel dried your hair and just scrunch and let dry.
For a more natural wavy look I use Bumble and Bumble Sea Salt Spray on damp hair and again just scrunch and air dry.
I have naturally curly hair and to be honest, I haven't found a single curl enhancing shampoo that works (and I've tried dozens regular and salon brands) but these products work very well.A Good Curl Enhancing Shampoo?
I recommend Davines Love Shampoo, Lovely Curl Enhancing Shampoo for Wavy and Curly Hair.

Fekkai luscious curls (cream, shampoo, conditioner, & wave spray)?
Today i went too my local sephora store so i could find a product that would make my straight hair wavy (or allow me to scrunch my hair.) The lady suggested this line of products but she wasn't sure that it would have much of an affect on my hair considering my hairs straight. Has anyone used these products on straight hair %26amp; will they work or are they just for people with curly hair? Fekkai luscious curls (cream, shampoo, conditioner, %26amp; wave spray)?
these are probably one of the best products u can buy...thats why they are so expensive. Its what the actresses and victoria secret models use.Fekkai luscious curls (cream, shampoo, conditioner, %26amp; wave spray)?
if you want curly hair use a curling iron
use strictly curls by marc anthony

IS there a shampoo that curls your hair?
give me some brands, price ,a n d storeIS there a shampoo that curls your hair?
Hey there!
There are some shampoo's and conditioners that supposably curl your hair, but some of them do not work. Its easier for shampoo's to straighten wavy/curlier hair, but its harder for them to curl straight hair!
Here are some that made my hair curlier, but they arent shampoo or condioner!( the pictures are what the products look like, and you cna buy them at your local hair salon)
Products that work!: Redken Ringlet 07 Curl Perfector! What this does is makes curls come when you scrunch it, and eliminates frizz, and provides control to your hair!
Just scrunch your towel dried hair using the Ringlet 07 redken product! I love it and it works so well! After scrunching, you can blowdry your hair, low/medium speed-medium heat.
Then you can add more of the Redken ringlet 07 curling product and scrunch hair again once hair is dry.
Then add Lastly 2), product below!(it is called Curl Force17 Texturizing Spray Gel)-Check 3rd link!-use this product last after using Ringlet 07 or Elastic Works09
Other Redken products that work awesomely are the following:(I RECCOMEND Elastic Works09! It makes it so you can Mold curls =)!)(try the second link for more info!)
1) Elastic Works 09! You can mold curls to your desire, and they last and stay for the day =)! Also prevents frizz!
Lastly 2) After applying one of the first 2 products(Ringlet 07 or Elastic Wroks09), apply Curl Force17 Texturizing spray Gel! It holsd your curls, for everlasting time =)
Thanks so much %26amp; good luck!
Check ALL the links for the 3 products i listed in order!(Use ONE of the first 2 products i mentioned, Ringlet 07 or Elastic Works09, and then use Curl Force17 Testurizing Spray gel to hold the curls! Now check out these links =)

Does that ';wash n' curl'; shampoo even work?
Ever heard of that shampoo... that you use and your hair ends up drying curly.
If it does work... do you think it would work on very VERY straight, medium thickness hair.Does that ';wash n' curl'; shampoo even work?
I got the book Curly Girl (by Massey) from the library a few days ago. I had considered myself to have dead-straight hair. I actually have a slight wave. Whether my hair dries straight or with waves depends on how I dry it. Any setting lotion or conditioner helps. Having the hair dry twisted or rolled or even just scrunched up makes a world of difference.
The test for this is to soak your hair and look at the ringlets or hanks when it's completely immersed in water. Squish the hair toward your head. If it just folds once, you have dead-straight hair. If it accordion-folds, then you have potentially wavy or curly hair.
Also check the videos at the JessiCurl website. They aren't limited to use with her products.Does that ';wash n' curl'; shampoo even work?
DEFINATLY NOT.
it made my hair all tangly.
i think its mostly for people with the blow dry straight hair but if you dont blow dry it its curly..them people.
Nope!! IT doesn't work. Trust I've tried it. My hair is really straight, medium thick just like yours. It looked like I stuck my finger in a light socket!!! It didn't work on me. =/
I was really disappointed, it didn't work for me either. Starlit Waves by John Frieda worked a little better for me, especially if I spray it on, and then put my hair in one or two buns.
I don't think that works. What you could do is this;
If your wanting curls then: get in the shower and bath as normal, when u get out comb ur hair and do little braids all throughout your hair. Sleep over night and in the morning take them out. Your hair will be perfectly curly!
It works for me!
yeah i've heard of it...i wouldn't recommend it. i doubt any shampoo can turn straight hair to curly from just washing...just try curling your hair the old fashion way with a curling iron or curlers.
I've tried using that shampoo on my thin, straight hair, but all it did was make my hair frizzy and it didnt stay in long anyway.
Not for straight hair. It's for curly hair that needs more curl definition or for people w/ wavy hair. It's not worth it if you have straight hair. Not at all.
NO!!! The makers are liars!!! I have very thin hair and it didn't work at all... Bu the way the shampoo isn't supposed to make your hair curly right away it's that if you use it THEN curl ur hair with a curling iron it is supposed to make it stay better but id DOESN'T!!!
probably not.if it did people would not pay to have perms

Curl enhancing mousse, gel, or shampoo for semi-curly hair?
I am a MALE and I have tight, slighty curly hair. The problem is that my hair looks dull and my hair is curlier in certain spots than others and it looks sorta wierd to me. My hair was the same way when I was like 5, but when I turned 6, it got real dry, coarse, and lost it's texture.
Note: I don't know if genetic info is of any help, but my father's side are east indian mixes and they have curly hair. Most of the guys start out with dry, texture-less hait but ended up VERY curly as they reached their 20s.
When I turned 19 a few yrs ago, myhair became curly again but it's only SLIGHTLY. Is there any kind of mousse or something that can AT LEAST enhance my curls?
As for my hair looking dull, I pretty much know that I will need conditioner or something to treat that problem. How often a week should I use leave in conditioner though? That is my 2nd question.
If anyone has any WORTHWHILE tips on how to treat my hair problem, they will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.Curl enhancing mousse, gel, or shampoo for semi-curly hair?
Well I use Totally Twisted shampoo %26amp; conditioner by Herbal Essence and honestly it worked very well for my hair. It made it curl more and made my curls softer. I love it. It may work differently for different people though. Just try it and see how it works. I also found that washing my hair every 3rd day makes it a lot curlier. I still rinse it and condition it every day but on shampoo at most every other day. good luck! =)Curl enhancing mousse, gel, or shampoo for semi-curly hair?
I have extremely curly hair that is also dry and course. I have tried everything on the market for my hair. I have found what works best if Infusium 23 leave in conditioner. I don't know where you live so I don't know what it will cost you but I live in Missouri and it cost me just under $7 for a big bottle that will last me about a month and I have waist length hair. I don't know if the humidity affects your hair but this works great for that also. It will put a shine in your hair and if you kind of bunch your hair with your hands after you put the leave in conditioner in your hair it will enhance your curls and make it look a lot healthier. I hope it works for you. If you go to www.infusium23.com and join Club 23 they will usually send you a sample. I hope the information helps. Good luck.makeup care

Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo...?
Does this work good for curly/wavy poofy/frizzy hair?
I don't want to define my curls, I just want the frizzyness to go away.
Will this product dry my hair out?Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo...?
no its actually great! but i suggest after ur done taking a shower that u use an anti frizz oil on ur hair try the gaunier frucuts anti frizz oil its awesome but make sure ur hair is wet when applying then afterwards let it dry naturally and u wont have to worry about frizz! goood luck!Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo...?
it works, and so does the suave professionals version.
I actually like the herbal essences curly hair collection. Because you have curly hair, you gotta remember to use conditioner and maybe a leave in treatment to keep your curls shiny and healthy.
Getting your hair cut in layers could help too.

Does that curl 'n' wash shampoo actually work?
I think i need a different hairstyle--just wondering.
Thanks! :)Does that curl 'n' wash shampoo actually work?
My hair has some natural curl, but when I've used it, I've noticed more curl in it. Another product that will help after you use the curl n wash is L'Oreal's Studio line Pumping Curls--a curl enhancer. Your hair is not going to look like you had a perm, but it will be some curly, wavy.
I've used it.Does that curl 'n' wash shampoo actually work?
well it it seams that it doesn't work for every one so try it your self
only if you actually have curly hair
If you have some curl or wave in your hair and if your hair is not thick. I have wavy hair but it is very thick and it did not work in my hair.
it doesnt curl it all on its own. you have to either have curly hair or have a perm

i have really straight hair is their a shampoo that makes perfect curlsIs there a shampoo that curls straight hair?
If your hair is naturally straight, no product (except a perm) will change that. If you have a bit of curl, you can find shampoos and gels that help encourage your hair to curl.Is there a shampoo that curls straight hair?
There is no shampoo that gives you curly hair, don't waste your money trying to find one. You would have to curl it yourself. The shampoo for curly/wavy hair wouldn't help unless you already have curly/wavy hair. There are styling products though that can help give the allusion of curly hair if you style it correctly.
Most brands have shampoos and conditioner for wavy/curly hair. If you use them, your hair will turn wavy or curly. Also when you get out of the shower you can put in some curling mousse and cfurl sculpting gel.
:) hope i helpeddd.
i think there are some gels you can just run through you hair or sprays that makes it curly but tell me if you find a shampoo that does :)
having really straight hair sux :(

Wash N Curl Shampoo And Conditioner?
Does Wash N Curl curl your hair for you? Or do you have to curl your hair after washing with wash n curl? If No, then is there any shampoos that curl hair just by washing your hair in it?

You still have to curl it, but it is supposed to make your hair take a curl better and last longer. No shampoo is going to curl your hair but you could do a permanent to make it curly but then it would be that way all the time.makeup care

I have natural thick wavy hair and I want it to be curly... Will wash and curl shampoo work for me??Wash and Curl shampoo??
No dear. Your best bet is to use curlers or take the time to curl it. Velcro curlers are pretty nice as long as you don't get them tangled in your hair. Try using a couple different sizes to vary the curl.

Should i quit using shampoo? would it be better to define my waves/curls?
ive heard that shampoo is like a drug for hair. therefore, i guess ill only use conditioner. any tips?Should i quit using shampoo? would it be better to define my waves/curls?
Okay you have to shampoo your hair, ultimately hair needs to be washed and conditioner does no wash your hair., but I do understand. Some shampoo's take out the natural oils/moisture in your hair, and being a girl with curls you know that, that is the last thing you want to do.
So here is what I suggest, you can do two things. You can buy the expensive shampoo that doesn't (or claims) to take out the oils in your hair. Or you can buy your preferred shampoo, and only use it every other day, or every two days if you like. And make sure you are using a good brand of conditioner, you could use Suave as a shampoo but you need a good lightweight conditioner. Matrix is my favourite, or maybe Tresemme
But, remember you can cut out some shampooing but NEVER stop conditioning your hair.Should i quit using shampoo? would it be better to define my waves/curls?
Shampooing washes away bad oils and good oils so you should shampoo but not every day. I usually will shampoo every other day and condition every day. It's also really bad to use store brand generic shampoos, they have a lot of additives that aren't good for your hair.
Not completely. Curlygirl.com recommends shampooing 1 or 2x a week. I usually go 3 days w/out shampoo... using just conditioner.
Lauri
I would still use shampoo and conditioner. use a special shampoo if you like. and get some kind of product specially for curls...
well no cuz the shampoo is good 4 ur hair it makes it smile good n look nice n so is the conditioner n it not a drug its just good 4 ur hair
ur hair will be disgustingly dirt and oily if u dont use shampoo. the conditioner will make it more oily!
No, don't do that! Just get a curls and waves shampoo and conditioner...

Curl shampoo?
i know there is shampoo and conditioner for people with natuarlly curly hair. but is there shampoo and conditioner that helps you make your hair curly?
%26lt;33Curl shampoo?
if your hair has a bit of curl in it, i recommend herbal essences totally twisted shampoo and conditioner. i have slightly wavy hair, and it really brings out my waves. it works really well. i don't know if it would really work if you have stick straight hair, though. you'd need to use a curling iron if you want really defined curlsCurl shampoo?
My hair is really curly to and i use matrix curling spary u spray it in when ur hair is damp then u scrunch it for like 2 minutes then take a defuser to ur hair for volume
Your hair has to have some body and natural curl to begin with. No shampoo will make straight hair curly.
idk i tried lots of them 2 but they dont work

If I use a shampoo or conditioner for straight hair on my curly hair will it reduce the tightness of my curls?
I was wondering if using a shampoo for straight hair (like Herbal Essence straighten out or Pantene Smooth) will it reduce the definity of my curls and make them more wavy???If I use a shampoo or conditioner for straight hair on my curly hair will it reduce the tightness of my curls?
you can try Scruples PEARL PRESCRIPTIVES Smooth Out Curl Control Shampoo 12 oz, it's around $15, and then use any conditioner you want. it doesn't straighten your hair, but makes your curls look softer and more relaxed. another thing is when you blow dry your hair, use straightening balm from scruples, also around $15, and it gives you beautiful, soft curls. then mist with hairspray. good luck.If I use a shampoo or conditioner for straight hair on my curly hair will it reduce the tightness of my curls?
i have extreme spiral curls and so far nothing has happened to my hair when i use shampoo/conditioner 4 straight hair, tho it might be different 4 you, i thing it all depends my hair is naturally curly so if urs it permed or something it might make ur hair wavy maybe to b safe u should use something like Pantene for curly hair. if your hair is still curly after a few washes i think u'll b fine.
probably not. those types of shampoos only have specific ingrediants to help manage that type of hair. so even if you have curly hair and use straight hair shampoo your going to end up with curly hair when it dries.
If only it were that easy.
No. You have to do a blow out or flat iron to get it straight.

i have extreme spiral curls and so far nothing has happened to my hair when i use shampoo/conditioner 4 straight hair, tho it might be different 4 you, i thing it all depends my hair is naturally curly so if urs it permed or something it might make ur hair wavy maybe to b safe u should use something like Pantene for curly hair. if your hair is still curly after a few washes i think u'll b fine.
probably not. those types of shampoos only have specific ingrediants to help manage that type of hair. so even if you have curly hair and use straight hair shampoo your going to end up with curly hair when it dries.
If only it were that easy.
No. You have to do a blow out or flat iron to get it straight.

Try going to Whole Foods and look in their beauty section, they have a large variety of natural products. My favorite is EO shampoo and conditioner but I don't have curly hair so I'm not sure if they make one for curly hair or not, but they have other great brands there also!makeup care

Best shampoo and conditioner to stop frizz+my curls going just into a frizz ball after washing?
Shampoo conditioner or maybe a hair product?
ThanksBest shampoo and conditioner to stop frizz+my curls going just into a frizz ball after washing?
I absolutely love Garnier Fructis shampoos and conditioners! Try the Sleek and Shine line. They also make a anti-frizz serum that smells wonderful and works wonders! The other line I would suggest is the Curl and Shine line. My daughter has curly hair and this stuff really works. I also pair it with the hair serum. Not bad for a lower cost solution! Check out the website to see if they have something else that might work for you. These products are the ones that I am familiar with myself. You may even find a coupon on it somewhere!! :)Best shampoo and conditioner to stop frizz+my curls going just into a frizz ball after washing?

Is was n curl shampoo good?
NO!!! It does not work. Tried it, what a total waste of money!!!!!!Is was n curl shampoo good?
Alot of people dont know that after using the shampoo you have to blow dry your hair and then use you curling iron to give it an extra touch!!Go for it it really works!!Is was n curl shampoo good?
shampoos aren't the best solution for that. if you want to curl ur hair try using the garnier frutics or herbal essence citrus lift mousses. after you've showered (or if your hair is wet) you apply it and let it dry. natural-looking curls in seconds!

herbal essences dangerously strait works. I use it. Its the pink bottle lol.
The ';John Frieda'; line of shampoo's, conditioners and other hair care products are a MUST when you want straight styles to STAY that way! They can be a bit pricey depending on ';where'; you buy them. Stores like (ugh!) ';Wal-Mart'; are your best bet price-wise and they DO carry the products.
I've been using Herbal Essences ';dangerously straight'; shampoo and conditioner. Good results and great smelling.
Have you tried Fructis sleek and straight, I use this on my caucasian friends hair all the time, and she has really thick curly hair, and it works great!

Is bed head ';foxy curls'; shampoo good?
I have thick, naturally curly/wavy hair, but lately it's been getting really frizzy and the curls aren't really defined (especially on the top layer), so I wanted to get a curl defining shampoo that reduces frizz. Does Bed Head ';Foxy Curls'; work for anyone who's tried it? If not, what about any other products? Thanks.
Oh, and I'm a girl btw.. lol.Is bed head ';foxy curls'; shampoo good?
Your best bet will be the bed head. Herbal Essence is nothing compared to bed head. Bed head my cost more but it's alot more concentrated so you use less, and it will last soooo much longer then the herbal essence. Plus some hair products that are not suggested by professionals such as: herbal essence, pantene pro-v, etc, have wax in them and will put actual wax in your hair, so the smell will stay with you. This is very damaging and you would have to get a malibu treatment to get it out. I know it sounds crazy but before I got into my profession I used those products and when I went to school my teacher actually scraped wax out of my hair, it was crazy.
Bed head is an awesome product I think you will really enjoy it and get hooked instantly. Is bed head ';foxy curls'; shampoo good?
I haven't tried the bed head before but I have tried Herbal Essences Totally Twisted.
It works okay but I prefer Sunsilk Captivating Curls.
Also, I have found that even shampoo and conditioners that don't specialize in curly hair work good too, as long as I put in some curl defining mousse or product after my shower.
Good luck!
i love love love foxy curls! the shampoo and conditioner works wonders for my hair, and it smells great. my curls are more defined now and way less frizzier. i've been using it for about 2 months and like it over anything else i've tried to reduce the frizz!
It worked for me and I have similar hair
better try ur self
yes but i think you should use a small amount at first and see it turns out

I've seen this advertised on t.v. and wondered if it really works.Has anyone tried the Wash 'N Curl Shampoo?
no but let me knowHas anyone tried the Wash 'N Curl Shampoo?
Hi yes I bought a bottle recently...my hair is long and I was very pleased with the results...you lather it twice...the second time you leave it on for 5 minutes before rinsing it. I have a collection of many brands of shampoo...a stylist mentioned that some shampoos strip your hair or coat it and it's best to switch around to prevent hair problems and to keep it healthy. Good luck!

Is there a shampoo that makes straight relaxed african american hair tightly curled?
I recently went natural, during the transition I used Be Curly, by aveda. Is there a shampoo that makes straight relaxed african american hair tightly curled?
im not sure, but go to sally beauty supply, they always have things like thatIs there a shampoo that makes straight relaxed african american hair tightly curled?
I don't know about a shampoo but a girl friend of mine in high school said that all she had to do was plow dry it. I would assume that she put some kind of gel on it first. What I would do is buy some of that curling shampoo for white hair, no conditioner and frizz free hair gel, blow dry and see what happens. All the fun of having hair is experimenting. The only thing that makes us evolved from the animals is our ability to accessorie.
once the curl is gone with a chemical perm, then you may not get the curl back.. but usually if you let the hair air dry some of it will come back, and then just use a leave in moisterizer to keep it soft..
I agree with the chemical perm..it lasts for a long time ..i just don't know the name of the products.
no! but you could stop relaxing and just use a texturizer to loosen the natural tight curl pattern
I have heard of this pantene one my co-worker uses it and says it's great you should look up their official website and look up for freebies or write to them for a freebie hehe

Will using shampoo for curly/wavy hair give me more curls?
i have straightish hair that has a few waves at the bottom but id like more defined waves, i read somewhere that using a shampoo and conditioner for curly/wavey hair will eventually give me a few more curls.
is this true? Will using shampoo for curly/wavy hair give me more curls?
No I have tried ever brand out there and has not done anything! Will using shampoo for curly/wavy hair give me more curls?
I don't agree that shampoos and conditioners can make your hair any curlier or straighter. They can condition your hair so your curl is less fuzzy etc.
your hair is only as curly as it is naturally, but saying that you will achieve more curl if you
use a product to enhance the curl
( I use KMS curl up - balm and spray in)
Use a diffuser!
(tames the frizzies)
I blow wave my fringe straight with a large round brush which I think accentuates the curl of the rest of the hair.
Then when i'm done I give a light spray with a shine spray or use shine serum, and depending on what my day involves I might scrunch a little KMS Molding Paste in which really defines the hair.
Geez, I sound like an add for KMS today! haha
probablynot. conditioner is what makes hair curly. use curly conditioner and brush your hair when it has lots of conditioner in it and no other time then when you get of the shower let it dry a tiny bit then crunch with your hands.
it won't actually GIVE you curls or waves but it might kink it a little. which might help when you use curlers or a curling iron.
It may be but I always thought that was wrong. If you want waves go to a hair salon and tell them and they will give you what you want.
them shampoos will give you more of a kink in your hair and will help when your styling your hair whether your using rollers or straightners to curl or give your hair some waves :)makeup care

It is a god-send for all hair types and textures, especially us curly girl wonders.
No shampoo makes your hair go curly. The only ways to make your hair curly if it isnt natural is to; curl with curlers, curl with straightners (wrap it around), hair rollers or perm.
I don't think any of them really work..
Hmmm.. maybe Sunsilk though xD

The degree of curliness of hair is determined by it's molecular structure.
No shampoo and/or conditioner can possibly have any effect on curliness.
Hi,
I use Curl Life by matrix. Get the shampoo, conditioner and
curling creme. They have two types of creme, one for thick
hair in a jar, and one in a tube for normal hair. I let my hair
dry a bit before putting in products. Use a quarter size amount rub it in your hands. Put product in using fingertips.
Then put fingers in palm to get more product on fingers. This
keeps you from getting to much or a build up. Spray when
dry with Sleek Look finishing spray to keep humidity out and
put shine in. Good Luck.
I had curley hair that i hated but one brand shampoo/conitioner that really helped... Sunslik (i think thats how you spell it)!!
The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulfate-free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells absolutely awesome! Organix has different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! They have an Organix Curling Citrus Mango Collection which is incredible! You can get Organix at Target, Albertsons, Duane Reade, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, Kroger, Jewel, Safeway, etc. You'll love it!!!

I have curly hair and conditioner wash my hair. For conditioners I use anything without silicone that includes Elucence, Regis Olive Oil, etc. Products that really bring out my curls are Jessicurl Coinfident Coils and Curl Keeper (both light weight styling solutions). I put one of the above in my hair after showering then ';plop'; my hair into a microfiber towel for about 15 minutes then let it air dry. You may want to check out naturallycurly.com for product reviews. It is a fantastic site for great information on how to bring out those lovely curls.
Redken Fresh Curls shampoo and conditioner are the best products I've used for curly hair. I have curly hair and my clients with curly hair love the products too. I would also get Redken Ringlet and put it in your hair when it's wet. You can either let your hair air dry or diffuse it after using the Ringlet. Ringlet is a combination of a gel and a cream. It doesn't feel sticky, stiff, or crunchy. It makes the curl defined, doesn't weigh them down, and makes them feel soft.

Should i use colour or curl shampoo?
i have curly hair with recently done blonde highlights. my curls have been limper since i had my hair dyed so should i use a colour or curl shampooShould i use colour or curl shampoo?
Use Colour. Definitely. When you colour you hair, it gets damaged, so using colour shampoo would mend your hair. If you want to use curl shampoo, then you could use both one after the other but I would use colour. You could mix a lil bit of both if you can't still decided after people's answers. Okay?
Xx. Hope that helps! =DShould i use colour or curl shampoo?
the color shampoo because when you color your hair you damage it to an extent. The color shampoo is made with that in mind and helps to nurish your hair.
why not mix a little of both :)

Has anyone tried wash and curl shampoo?
Yes! If you have straight hair and you are dieing for curly hair it works perfect! You get these beautiful ';S'; shaped curls! Now if you have curly hair it is a different story,,, My sister has extremely curly hair and she tried it and she has hair that is a tad below her shoulders but when she washed it with that it came right below her chin.... It was so ugly! I recommend it for straight hair!!! Hope I helped!!!
It kinda gets it like this except it is calmer but then again we all have different hair and hair can do different things!!!

What are some shampoo's that will help my hair curl better?
i curl naturally but some parts dont curl as well as other parts,
I know there are some shampoos and conditioners that are for people with curly hair, but what are the best ones??What are some shampoo's that will help my hair curl better?
You should totally use the Aveda Be Curly collection. It is the absolute best collection for people with curly or wavy hair, or people with straight hair that want curly or wavy hair. Aveda products are all organic and use no sulfates or bad hair stuff like that. I love Aveda! I use the Rosemary Mint s%26amp;c.

I know it seems a bit much, but it's soooooooo incredibly worth it. Use the 'find a location' at the bottom of the screen and find an Aveda salon near you.

Best frizz fighting shampoo and condish for curls?
please drugstore recommendations only! and it has to be moisturizing.Best frizz fighting shampoo and condish for curls?
Pantene hydrating curls or tressemme flawless curls. Both smell great and you'll see results right away. Also very cheap and good quality. I would highly suggest them. My hair can be very frizzy and these work for me.

Is there a shampoo that curls your hair?
I have wavy hair and if I want to make it curly, what I do is get a shampoo (any brand) that does not say moisturizing or smoothing or anything like that, and I wash my hair with it and detangle it in the shower with a wide tooth comb. Do not use conditioner, it will weigh your hair down.
I just let it dry naturally, without even brushing it or touching it, and I have curls not waves!
If you want to, you can use a diffuser and a small amount of light gel to help the curls.
I think that the ';curling'; shampoos are the same idea...Is there a shampoo that curls your hair?
yeah, i forget what its called but they have it at target in a white bottle. the same brand has one that straightens your hair to...Is there a shampoo that curls your hair?
try herbal essances 'curl around' or somthing like that. it really helps curl your hair.
well yes there is...
it is a product called SexyHair!!! I have the detanglare and it worls so well!!! The detangular still cruls my hair!!! Its great!!!
This is not a shampoo but try Garnier Fructis Curl Shaping Spray Gel, you just spray it on your hair and then twist hair pieces or parts of your hair to make curls and an Aerosol Spray of Garnier to hold the style. There's a styling video called ';dream curls'; at www.garnierfructisusa.com it'll explain what you have to do.
no butt theres alot of things you can use go to a salone and ask them
yes, go to sally beauty company online, or any hair website, they have that shampoo everywhere.
omg i wish i had an answer to this question!!! ive heard of shampoo for people WITH curly hair but i dont know if theres shampoo that can curl hairs... someone answer it fast!
ummm i think......... well theres shampoo for curly hair and it probly gets your hair a bit wavy. But if there isnt, then you get some pantene scrunching gel and scrunching mousse. Then you flip your head up-side-down and scrunch your hair with the gel. Then flip it back and do the same with the mousse but not up-side-down.

if you have naturally curly or wavy hair, yes. every brand has them. they'll just say ';curl enhancer'; or something to that effect.

Is it better to shampoo and condition your hair before you curl it?
No, definitely not. Hair holds a curl so much better when it hasn't been washedIs it better to shampoo and condition your hair before you curl it?
Hey there.
It really depends what kind of hair straightener you have. if you have the Wet to straight then it's okay, but if you have the normal ceramic ones then make sure you blow dry and use heat protectant before you curl/straighten your hair =)Is it better to shampoo and condition your hair before you curl it?
This is going to sound like common sense but....if your hair is dirty, wash it first. If you want your curls to stay in for a few days and you don't want to wash it for a few days, wash it first. Otherwise, if you hair is clean just go ahead and curl it. :)
shampoo yes. condition no since it weighs it down -unless your hair is hugely think and frizzy
I would. Conditioner makes your hair soft and neat and tidy. You want that before you curl because knots when curling can be a total pain!! Shampoo is also good because who wants dirty curls? LOL! Good Luck!
:)
no your hair holds the crul better if you wash it the day before.
Shampoo the day before but hold out on the conditioner. The curls will not hold so well if the hair has been freshly washed and conditioned. Use good strong hold hair products too.
yes, your hair should be fresh to get the best results, especially if you are using a curling iron to get the curls
any will do nothing really really cheap
I always found styling dirty hair lasts longer than clean.
No! Hair usually curls a lot easier when there are natural oils in it
yes..it works better for me!i have really straight hair so its hard to curl bu tit usually helpss or when u r hair is a little wet when u curl its better..but it depends on what kind of hair u got..
:]]
it doesnt really matter but it just looks softer and mory shiny
ya know wut im sayin
yes
Depands on your hair type, I usally do not condition mine when I curl it, I find the curls hold better. But make sure the next day or later that night when you wash it agian to condition it so it won't get too dry. Hope that helps. Good Luck
NO! You should wash it and condition a day before you plan on curling it. You need your natural oils so that you hair will hold the curl.
it really doesnt matter but its better to because your hairs not as oily so it will curl better and if you really want tremendous gorgeous locks try using a styling gel like perology or even bb tonic which is a lotion that protects your hair from the damage caused by heat or even a styling/texurizing spray trust me i have strait hair and it used to take everything for me to keep my hair curly.
Yes, you shouldnt curl '; dirty'; hair. I would say wash and condition your hair before putting any style to it. Make sure it is completely dry , then curl it. It will look much better if you have washed and conditioned your hair before using any irons.
Absolutely! Why waste all that time curling filthy hair which you're going to have to wash the next day?
ya!
No..it's better without using them
Curling your hair while it's wet will help it hold better.
probably i would

Does curl n' wash shampoo actually work?
I have wavy THICK hair do you think it would work for me? I have trouble doing my hair w/ a curling iron cuz its thick and takes so long. Any other tips would be helpful. Thanks!Does curl n' wash shampoo actually work?
The misconception about that shampoo is that all you have to do is wash it and it magically becomes curly. This is not the case. What is does is preps the hair to hold a curl better and longer. You still have to dry it and use a curling iron or rollers after you shampoo with it, it just coats your hair in a styling product that will help it hold the curl.Does curl n' wash shampoo actually work?
what Dez said.
Now, do you really think that just by shampooing that stuff into your hair, you'll dry it and have a beautiful style??? NOOOOOOOOOOOO. It's probably just gel like stuff to HELP you get a style.
It might not work for waavy hair. I have it it dose not exactly work vary well
just put citi shine curly mosse it works for everyone just put it in damp hair and then crunch your hair
its sooo easy its good for a low mantance fast lookdermatologist acne

I don't think that works. What you could do is this;
If your wanting curls then: get in the shower and bath as normal, when u get out comb ur hair and do little braids all throughout your hair.
